Dear clients, friends and vendors:
During these challenging times as we confront the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, please know that we are open and here for you. Our office, including attorneys and closing staff are considered “Essential Workers” under the Governor’s Stay at Home Order. We have implemented our emergency preparedness protocols, and while our office is closed with limited staff onsite, our attorneys, paralegals and escrow staff are working remotely to assure that your legal and closing needs will continue to be met consistent with the high standards you expect from us.
While we have undertaken these alternative work arrangements, we have best practices in place to assure the seamless processing of your legal and closing needs. Please note the updated contact information and emergency protocols for closing your transaction:
-
Contacting our Attorneys. Please call us at 425-248-2163, or email either INFO@GRLG.NET, individual attorneys, Dale J. Galvin (DGALVIN@GRLG.NET), Yen Lam (YLAM@GRLG.NET), Jennifer Sehlin (JSEHLIN@GRLG.NET) or Chris Hysom (CHYSOM@GRLG.NET), or paralegal, Michelle Straub (MSTRAUB@GRLG.NET).
-
Contacting our Closing Staff. Please call us at 425-248-2163, or email either ESCROW@GRLG.NET, individual closers Angi Krachunis (AKRACHUNIS@GRLG.NET), Cindy Hansen (CHANSEN@GRLG.NET), Rose Kane (RKANE@GRLG.NET) or escrow assistants, Krista Karlsten (KKARLSTEN@GRLG.NET) or Maria Anna Cipolletta (MCIPOLLETTA@GRLG.NET).
-
Website Updates. Please visit our website at WWW.GRLG.NET for updates as we respond to the changing governmental responses to the Coronavirus.
-
Emergency Closing Practices. Please note the following practices we have in place to seamlessly close your transaction:
-
Earnest Money Deposits. If your client wishes to deposit funds by check, please contact our office to request courier service or to request an overnight UPS label. We would like to do everything possible to avoid client drop off in office. Your clients can also wire the earnest money deposit to our office. Please call our office directly to request wire instructions.
-
Mobile Signing Procedures/eSigning. We are still able to arrange for mobile notary signings but, to limit person-to-person contact during the signing process, clients may also sign eligible documents from their homes. Wet signatures are required for loan documents; however, we have also instituted eSigning options for loan documents. Please inquire of our escrow staff for further instructions.
- Efficient Closings. We will continue to update our closing clients with changes in closing procedures in compliance with any further governmental restrictions.
We have assembled some helpful Coronavirus (COVID-19) response links here to assist individuals and businesses during this time.
Be safe and please take care of your family and our community.
