CHRIS HYSOM

Chris Hysom is admitted to practice in the State of Washington. He graduated from Seattle University
School of Law in 2001 and entered into public practice as a contract city prosecutor and then staff
counsel to the Legislature for three years advising elected officials on state and federal matters. He
subsequently spent nearly a decade as sole in-house counsel to a privately-held real estate development
company managing legal, risk management, and public affairs matters. He has extensive experience in contract negotiations, real property and land use issues, real estate purchases, regulatory compliance,
corporate governance, risk management, and government affairs. He is an accredited risk
manager, a licensed real estate broker, and most importantly, husband and father of three. He is very
active in his local community, which includes roles as a Chamber executive board member, a Cub Scout
den leader, and a youth soccer coach. His practice areas include: Real Estate, Land Use, and Business
Law.
